Most single items are easy to lift and impossible to manoeuvre. A three-seater round a tight landing, a mattress down a communal stairwell, a fridge out of a galley kitchen. That is what we bring the straps and trolleys for.

- Is one item worth calling out for?
- Yes, that is the point of the service. It is priced as a single item rather than as a minimum load.
- Does it need to be outside?
- No. We collect from wherever it is, upstairs, in a flat or round the back. The lifting is ours.
- Can you take a fridge or freezer?
- Yes. They contain gases that have to be handled under WEEE rules, so they go through the correct stream rather than a general skip.
